Location
Combe Church of England School is at
the lower edge of the village. It overlooks the Evenlode Valley where
the village was situated until the 1348 Black Death.
The village is approximately two miles north of the Bladon to Witney Road (A4095) after turning in the village of Long Hanborough. It is close to Woodstock town and adjacent to the Blenheim Estate.
The area around the school, particularly the river, the Roman Villa and the Blenheim Estate provides a rich source of material for first hand practical experiences for the children.
